Sifu Mike Lee

Sifu Lee began studying under Grandmaster Tat-Mau Wong in 1995. While continuing to train and teach, he studied Social Welfare & Education at UC Berkeley. After graduation, he was recruited by Teach For America for his strong leadership skills and taught mathematics to kids growing up in poverty  in Newark, New Jersey.

Sifu Lee received his title of 'Sifu' from Grandmaster Tat-Mau Wong in 2013 and is an internationally ranked 6th degree black belt. As a nationally recognized Sanshou/Sanda kickboxer, he has proudly represented the USA numerous times as a member of the US National Sanshou Team.  He has participated in many full contact fighting competitions like the Pan American Championships in Argentina and the the World Sanshou Championships in Canada, Malaysia, and Indonesia.

Whether in his own personal training or for teaching students, Sifu Lee believes "Alone we are strong... Together we are STRONGER."
